One time when I was walking to the coffee shop to meet my friends there was a homeless guy walking towards me on the sidewalk. He had a cart full of his stuff and was waving at me and saying something. I honestly couldn’t tell what he was saying, but I moved to the side to give him room to pass. When he got closer, he swung at me, missing. I was obviously startled, and he started yelling at me to “sit my ass down” over and over. I’m not sure why he was so angry, but I just clammed up and ran towards the coffee shop. Mind you this was on a busy street too. I met my friends safe and sound and the rest of the day went smoothly, but I never really attempted to walk there again, instead asking for a ride directly from my house.
